Trauma and Resilience Laboratory

The Resilience Laboratory was established to organize seminars and reading groups to increase the knowledge and experience of undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of trauma and psychological resilience, and to transform this knowledge and experience into academic and field studies.

The laboratory was founded with the voluntary participation of seventeen clinical psychology graduate students in the 2021-2022 academic year and it started to operate under the consultancy of Burcu Uysal. Within the scope of these activities, first of all, experts in the field were invited and their experiences were sought in order to increase the knowledge and experience in the field. The issue of trauma has been discussed within the framework of different schools and approaches. In this context, the laboratory, which hosts various seminars throughout the year, also read and examined articles selected from the literature that could form the basis for future academic studies at the meetings it held once a month.

In this process, the Trauma and Resilience Laboratory, which won the favor of undergraduate students and other students other than Ibn Haldun University, plans to continue seminars and reading activities, organize various group studies and carry out academic studies in the new term.
