PASS Project Selected for Funding Under Erasmus+
The PASS Project, led by Assoc. Prof. Burcu Uysal, has been awarded a grant by the Turkish National Agency with the support of Erasmus+.

The Erasmus+ project titled “Participatory Symposium Addressing Secondary Trauma After Earthquake (PASS)”, coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Burcu Uysal, faculty member of our Psychology Department and Director of IPAM, has been selected for funding by the Turkish National Agency.

The project, to be carried out in collaboration with Hasan Kalyoncu University, will focus on the experiences of teachers, healthcare workers, and other professionals who served in the region following the February 6 earthquakes. A workshop is planned to be held in July, during which these groups will be hosted at our University Campus.

In the second phase of the project, meetings will be held with decision-makers working in ministries and relevant institutions to share the findings and proposed solutions derived from the first workshop.

The main objective of the project is to raise awareness about secondary trauma experienced by professionals working in the field and to contribute to the development of policy-level solutions.

If you did not directly experience the February 6 earthquakes but took part in post-earthquake relief efforts in the affected region and would like to join our project as a participant, you may fill out the form below by June 23, 2025:
